Cabinet of Curiosities

The following videos were all chosen because they invoke the feelings of danger and excitement that are intrinsically linked to the sport of skiing. This is my favourite sport for the primary reason that nothing can match the thrill of racing from the top of a mountain to the bottom in 20 minutes with trees whipping past as snow is kicked into the air as you rush past faster than you know is sensible.

The following pictures are a mix of pictures both of the scrapbook  i have made to showcase skiing pictures from magazines and brochures and a number of pictures I have found online. All these pictures invoke the feelings i have when i actually ski, predominantly a surge of adrenaline that brings to mind shooting round corners of a ski cross cause pushing what seems to be the sound barrier before spilling off the course into the side netting.
